Confessions of an AI-powered slacker (who learned the error of his ways):- Me, day 1 with AI: "Hey AI, write me a sonnet about a narwhal in love with a toaster." (Watches TV while AI churns out questionable poetry) Me, day 3 (existential crisis mode): "Is AI the downfall of creativity? As a writer AND a singer, this feels like the robot uprising, but for art!" Me, after actually learning how to use AI (shocking, I know): "Wait, using prompts to improve my writing and knowledge is actually pretty cool! Like, a digital thesaurus with a built-in grammar checker on steroids!" Moral of the story: AI is a fancy tool, not a replacement for the human touch. Use it to enhance, not replace, your creativity. Ai has done something quite interesting with how I consume books 📚. Lately, I've been (unintentionally) searching for timeless classics written 50-100 years ago by legendary authors like: - Napolean Hill - Dale Carnegie - Viktor Frankl It's pushed me away from newly released books. Sounds strange, right? Well, not really. You see, Ai may be the most revolutionary technology in human history. It brings remarkable speed — allowing us to do 10x more with a fraction of the time and resources (which I certainly appreciate). Ai can write a well-written book in seconds. But Ai isn't giving me conscious wisdom from real-lived experiences. In other words, it's not truly authentic. 👉 Lesson: Humans will always crave authenticity. It's why we pay 10x more for the real deal over a replica that looks almost identical. It's why we love hearing stories from people who endured difficult experiences with scars to prove it. It's why we prefer going to live events like concerts and seminars instead of experiencing them virtually.
