By now, you know who Mr Beast is. From paying for 1,000 people’s cataract surgery to running his own Squid Game, Jimmy Donaldson has become the quintessential face of going big or going home. But his latest venture is one that has really touched my heart. In the space of a 10-minute video, Donaldson jets across sub-Saharan Africa donating equipment to schools, building a bridge to connect a village to a hospital, and building 100 new wells in communities without clean water. Mr Beast’s style of viral philanthropy is often criticised for being inauthentic, but I don’t think you can deny the objectivity of the impact Jimmy has had here. Where children were forced to drink unsafe water, they now have free access to clean H2O. It’s as simple as that. When people talk about putting your money where your mouth is, this is what they mean. Bravo, Jimmy 👏

Not sure how much I longer I can last without work. There is a chance I can lose my home. Its nearing 4 months unemployed and I'm averaging on 2 rejections a day with over 1000 jobs applied for. People say its a numbers game. That doesn't help me. I need someone to give me a chance. I am hardworking, flexible, professional, upbeat and honestly don't understand why I'm getting absolute nowhere. 1yIt's a great idea, Paul. But unlikely to happen given the site's revenue model and also their desire for us all to talk to each other. You might feel differently if more recruiters were more thoughtful, and relevant, in their approaches though. Perhaps LI could expand your idea and have Not Open to buying lead generation services, financial advice, web design etc button options for everyone? 😀 But I suspect they still wouldn't stop some people from trying would they?
