Big changes coming for the Keeney family.... I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as a Senior Associate at Walter P Moore on the Enclosure Diagnostics team. I'm looking forward to utilizing my technical skills in high-performance buildings, sustainability, and building enclosures as an enclosure consultant. And...after 8 fantastic years in Chicago, our family is moving back to the east coast. Can't wait rejoin the Washington DC building community, back to where it all began at the beginning of my career.

I had a blast attending #Greenbuild this past week in DC, and reconnecting with & meeting so many folks throughout the industry. Thanks to all who attended the COTE National meet-up on Thursday. We are excited to get our own COTE AIA|DC chapter organized for future events. Thanks to Jon Penndorf, FAIA, Kevin McNulty, Benjamin Holsinger, Erin Holdenried, and Sophie J. Martin, PE, LEED AP, CPHC for helping to organize a successful event. 🙌 🙏 Be on the lookout for a COTE dc event happening sometime later this fall... My two favorite seminars during the Conference included: "Driving to 2045: The US General Services Administration's Path to a 100% Net Zero Portfolio" -> While many are aware of GSA's Buy Clean initiatives and the P100 standards, the panelists' excitement for these recent measures was awesome! "Beyond Skin and Bones - The Beating Heart of Whole Life Carbon in Buildings" -> I found this to be one of the deepest dives on embodied carbon during the Conference, specifically toward building enclosures, MEP systems, and building interiors.

#WalterPMoore’s Diagnostics teams in Washington, D.C. and New York recently worked together to perform a campus-wide structural and building enclosure assessment for Georgetown University.
