Digital Strategy 🔹 Over two dozen $10M+ digital transformations 🔹 Led a $330M cross-functional P&L and 2,000 people ⚕️ Industries: government/defense, healthcare, technology, manufacturing

Every decade or so, I need to build something. When I helped my father remodel our farmhouse we could see our results. Professionally, my teams have done amazing things though those achievements are theirs not mine. After I got out of the Marine Corps, I remodeled my condo’s kitchen and bathroom. 🏡. Later, I remodeled our home’s living room. 🏠 This time I built a healthcare clinic. 🏥 So where am I going with this? There’s lots of conversation about how artificial intelligence will impact the workplace and future generations. There’s a lot of incredibly important questions to be asked and answered there. Let’s think about goals instead of work: 👉 If work is simply trading frustration for salary, like The Office, then it’s not going to be incredibly fulfilling to the people doing it. 👍 If work creates a Nobel prize, cures cancer, or simply helps someone carry groceries to their car then it becomes much more rewarding. Over time, and with the right guard rails, people will look at work differently. We should focus on tangible outcomes not simply turning the wheels for existing process. Then equip people and teams to achieve these outcomes more effectively. People enjoy showing what they’ve built which inspires them to build more.
