Action through design. Plastic pollution plagues our oceans and rivers. Sungai Design takes a stand by transforming rescued plastic bags from Indonesian rivers into stunning, contemporary chairs. Through intensive cleaning, shredding, and heat-pressing, skilled artisans craft this waste into elegant, meaningful furniture. #sustainability #recycling #innovation
This is one of the stories that I’ve been watching since they started the project back in 2022. It’s insane how inspiring this behavior and action. I strongly believe “if there is a will there is a way “ and they had the will and they did it.. all the love and respect to these people, well done
The only species that has polluted the Earth's environment is Homo sapiens. Humans are not fully compatible with the Earth's ecosystem. They cannot be seen as successors to monkeys through evolution. It is possible that humans have extraterrestrial origins, even though they share common elements with other animals in their genome. Many animals display a greater sense and intelligence compared to humans. For instance, the behavior of animals during earthquakes and tsunamis is notable.
Where can you get these chairs?

It's okay The Coca-Cola Company are connecting their caps to the bottles now... that will sort it 🙄 I love these kind of projects but the problem is at the other end of the cycle we have to stop using plastic for everything, especially where this is no good reason, and other materials would be just as suitable.
Make trashcans from that plastic and put it all around Bali. Collecting garbage will be so much easier
Excellent....how can we get these chairs or products in India. Please mail on conceptbiotec@gmail.com

1mo...Bali beach has it-garbage...does it mean that those "beach lovers" are educated but don't APPLY what they learned...what a waste of money of parents who let them be trained in first class schools but never learned a simple way to love the earth...i appreciate Japan's discipline, not only in cleanliness but how people treat others, though i may not see the negative side of it...is there any?...maybe , i'm not that good in socmed...
