Coronavirus infection is diagnosed in TCM according to the classical Chinese medical text Wen Bing Xue (Warm Disease Theory), which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of epidemic diseases. Epidemic Thunderstorm Asthma Forecast HIGH The Chief Health Officer has issued an epidemic thunderstorm asthma forecast of HIGH Monday 30 October 2023 for the West and South Gippsland district. This means there is an increased chance of an epidemic thunderstorm asthma event occurring. Epidemic thunderstorm asthma is where a large number of people suddenly develop asthma symptoms over a short period of time and is thought to be triggered by a unique combination of high pollen levels and a certain type of thunderstorm. The Bureau of Meteorology works closely with the department to forecast the risk of an epidemic thunderstorm asthma event.
