🌍 What does it mean to be truly neutral and unified in a diverse world? As Switzerland celebrates its National Day today, we are reminded of the significance of August 1st, 1291—a day that marks the founding of the Swiss Confederation. This moment in history symbolizes a commitment to unity, neutrality, and shared values among diverse cantons. In our increasingly globalized and interconnected world, Switzerland's example raises a thought-provoking question: How can we foster a sense of unity and neutrality in our own organizations and communities, while embracing diverse perspectives? Let's reflect on the lessons we can learn from Switzerland's enduring principles of cooperation and peace. How do you see these values playing a role in your professional and personal life? #SwissNationalDay #UnityInDiversity #Leadership #OrganizationalCulture
The 12 strokes of midnight have sounded; it is August 1st! Happy Swiss National Day to everyone!

"When God Says Go, (And You Say, ''No')" - Jonah 1:1-17; 2:1-3; The 18 min. video message only from this week's broadcast of A Fresh Start. This message is from the first sermon I preached on Nov. 9, 2008 the Sunday after I left a pastorate, where I had served for 6 and a half years, and planned to stay at until my 70th birthday in May 2021. It was a major defining moment in my life. God had other plans for me, and a few months later I formed Back To The Basics Ministries and began airing A Fresh Start TV Program. I knew from reading about the life of Jonah, and what happens when you initially say "No" to God, the results can be disastrous. This 1st of 3 parts of that sermon deals with what happened to Jonah when he intentionally disobeyed the call of God for his life. www.drbobbymullins.com “WHEN GOD SAYS GO” (JONAH 1:1-2:3) I. WHEN GOD SAYS “GO” AND YOU SAY “NO” 1. YOU ARE IN DISOBEDIENCE AND DESERVE THE JUDGMENT OF GOD - vv. 1:1-2 2. THE ONLY WAY TO GO IS DOWN AND YOU EITHER DISABLE OR DESTROY YOUR PERSONAL TESTIMONY FOR CHRIST - vv. 1:3-5 3. YOUR DISOBEDIENCE EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY HAS A NEGATIVE IMPACT UPON OTHERS AND CAN HAVE AN ENDANGERING EFFECT UPON THEM - vv. 1;4-12 4. THERE ARE DARK, DIFFICULT, DISABLING, AND DISTRESSFUL DAYS AWAITING YOU AND YOU FEEL A SENSE OF DEFEAT - vv. 1:16-2:3
"When God Says Go, I" - first airing on A Fresh Start on WVLR on June 17, 2018

On a long 12-hour flight from Sol to Detroit, I watch a master class with James Clear Jamesclear, basically reviewing what I'd read in Atomic Habits - thanks Delta Air Lines. ➡ What disciple-making systems are in place that step by step, with consistency will lead to disciple-multiplication and movement in your area? - weekly prayer walks? - prayer for the lost and saved daily? - habit of starting spiritual conversations with people while in long lines at airports or banks? What would you add to this list Steve Addison, Dave Coles
