4moThe only danger with an IT company being employee owned is that a client incident that references your company's name could tank you, as proven so many times in the past. This would wipe out everyone, as opposed to just taking down the company. I recently worked for an IT firm that went ESOP and we used N-Able, whose parent company is Solarwinds. It was a terrifying wake up call for us. There are so many benefits to an ESOP, but that is one major downfall.
