Data Cloud [DC]: We all have heard about the importance of Use Cases in DC. In fact the recommended practice of implementing DC is to identify the Use Cases first & then perform the next steps. For clients this issue one of the big issue in DC. Let's see some tips/pointers to make this exercise easier wrt to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. ✅ There are can be 2 approaches to this exercise, Top down & Bottoms up Top Down means start from the top i.e. Marketing Targets, KPIs, Goal etc. Bottom up means start from the low level i.e. Data level stats e.g. type of data, attributes, source etc. ✅ Examples of Top down approach: What is the Marketing goal that we are trying to achieve here & how DC can help us? What's our moon shot & how DC can help us achieve it? What Marketing KPIs are we trying to improve & how can DC help us? Surface Marketing Insights to CRM Agents? Identify top Email/SMS/Mobile App/WhatsApp engagers for segmentation Personalized product recommendations from multiple data sources? ✅ Examples of Bottoms up approach: What kind of data do we have? What sources do we import, extract data to? Complexity of Data? Can we use Einstein scores for Al Based Segmentation Thanks to Kyle Lassen, Matt Moses for their Insightful session in Data Cloud Deep Dive sessions.
