Welcome to the Jungle, a French company, bought Otta, a London-based job search platform. This move aims to improve job hunting in Europe and the USA. Otta will keep its name and focus on tech and startup jobs. Welcome to the Jungle strengthens its position in the job market with this acquisition, aiming to make job matching faster and more efficient. Welcome to the Jungle already helps 5,500 companies in France and the Czech Republic. They make these companies more visible to almost three million workers. They do this by improving the company's image and making hiring smoother for everyone involved. The company, which started in 2015, has grown a lot. It now has over 300 workers. In early 2023, they got $54 million from investors like Cipro, Blisce, and Revaia. #BusinessGrowth #GlobalAcquisitions #JobMarketInnovation #TechIndustryNews

Being in business is more than just a full-time job. Nowadays, some people think that when you're doing business, you have less things to worry about on a daily basis. And because of social media, some people are thinking that everything's easy and that the work's not going to be cut out for them from day 1, just because an "entrepreneur" content creator shows shiny things, cars, and wads of cash and completely misses out (if at all was done) on the grit and the hard process they had to go through. I don't blame them, I get my share of feelings, too. I wonder how they got there so fast, why it looks so easy for them and so on and so forth. It's tough, it requires commitment, an even tougher mindset and discipline. I don't pretend that I have it all figured out at this point in time. I'm relatively new to this and I still have plenty of things to learn from those who came before me and from those who are doing better progress than me. I want to succeed at reaching my goals and while I'm in this journey together with my wife as founders of INFC New Marketing and Communications, and of course also together with our family and our badass team members in the Philippines office, God willing, we're going to make it and I hope to share a little bit about our milestones for us to learn together from them in case there's anything to learn from them for you. There's plenty of room for us to grow right now, and recently we have been trying to push the envelope even more (and hopefully, even beyond the Philippines market). It's not easy, I hope that what my team and I are doing for our clients will make it work, one small block at a time, one dollar at a time until we reach the top. Good Morning!

Sometimes, life's detours lead us to the most fulfilling destinations. ✨ Nazmin Abdullah, a Senior Operations Executive at our social impact initiative, RYTHM Foundation, is a perfect example of this. She had graduated from university in her small town in Malaysia and had dreams of building a career in the big city, when life took an unexpected turn. Her priorities shifted when she had to put her dreams on hold to care for her ailing mother back in her small hometown. She saw firsthand the limitations faced by the people back home, particularly access to education, healthcare, and resources. This experience ignited a desire in her to make a difference, however small. This led her to RYTHM Foundation, where she is flourishing today. Nazmin's story is a powerful reminder that purpose can be found in unexpected places. It's about embracing challenges, making a difference, and finding a workplace that aligns with your values. We are proud to have her as part of the QI family, where we believe our employees are true torchbearers of our ethos: RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind. Read her inspiring story here. #PeopleofQI #EmployeeRecognition #Purpose #socialimpact

The phrase 'opening new horizons' added a new touch for me this year. Reflecting on the rollercoaster ride that was 2023, it's been a period of significant professional growth. Parting ways with GoMage was among the toughest decisions I've faced. Three years of learning, evolving, and forging lasting connections. Yet, challenging decisions often lead to the most rewarding experiences. Leaving that familiar ground was hard, but it paved the way for fresh opportunities. One notable experience was attending one of Geekhub's professional development trainings, where I not only expanded my skills but also had the chance to meet new people. We still see each other to 'share the experience' with a glass of wine 😏 Another major shift was my first international work experience, exposing me to the differences between Ukrainian and British professional mindsets. It was eye-opening to compare approaches, work ethics, and problem-solving methods. Being so unpredictable, this year has been crucial for resilience and adaptability. Making tough decisions has been part of the journey, but the result is undeniable professional growth. Only by overcoming challenges, making hard choices, yet enjoying the process one comes out stronger on the other side! 🚀 #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerJourney #Adaptability
