🤔 It's certainly not the sexiest topic, but if you've been paying attention there's some really interesting things happening in the B2B marketing analytics and attribution space... 👀 I'm thinking of a few recent upstarts like Factors.ai, HockeyStack, and Dreamdata, in particular. They've all brought a fresh perspective to attribution, which is saying a lot. (Especially from me. At heart, I'm a brand marketer.) 👊 Ostensibly, all three are competitors. But what I find really interesting is that even though all three are competitors, looking for an edge in any way that they can, they all seem to agree on one thing: - the value of G2 🤯 But don't take my word for it, hear it from the companies themselves: 👉 Factors.ai: G2 traffic has a 67% higher conversion rate than paid search traffic. (And paid search traffic isn't getting any cheaper for more most folks.) https://lnkd.in/ebu-Tmj7 👉 HockeyStack: MQLs with a G2 touchpoint have a 22% better conversion rate and deals with a G2 close 27% faster. (Like I've said, nobody except weirdos like me go to G2 for fun - they are there because they are in-market!) https://lnkd.in/eqBUR_rb 👉 Dreamdata: On average, G2 influences more than 50% of the deals that they track to close - and at all points of the journey. (You might want to be where more than half of your prospects/soon-to-be customers are.) https://lnkd.in/emy9d6yK It's tough to get competitors agree on anything, but G2's value to software buyers (and the software vendors trying to reach them) is something that everyone can agree on. 🤝
Tremendous post. Commenting for reach.
I can't imagine life in sales without our G2 and LinkedIn Ads intent to light up that dark funnel and keep me on top of my pipeline.
Yes, Palmer Houchins , we all agree here ! The interesting part with Factors.ai is we dont stop at Attribution, but let you take action on the insight over auto prospecting emails, SalesNav and Ads to generate leads.
Hey, I resembled that remark! 😉
Nobody can undervalue the impact of G2 in B2B marketing. The numbers speak for themselves. Great post, Palmer. ❤️
