I did Dry January again this year! I've slept wonderfully, felt healthy (pic related), and made some life changes I feel great about. 💪 I do wish we had less of a cultural dependence on booze in the UK. In the games industry too. So, here are a few things I had an amazing time doing this month drinking nothing but water and sugary corner shop cans: - Met the wonderful 2024 Safe In Our World ambassador cohort - Went for a photoshoot at Candid, pulled silly faces - Got some friends together for board games at Loading (Absolutely destroyed Michael Leopold Weber at this game where you have to make things out of clay within a time limit) - Visited The National Gallery, left in awe - Got a new tattoo, survived - Went to the Arcola Theatre for the first time to see Don't Destroy Me - couldn't believe I'd never been before given it's walking distance - Ate haggis for the first time celebrating Burns Night - Saw Guys and Dolls at London Theatre Company - a super fun show, especially with the way the theatre integrates the audience with the stage - Tooted my trumpet at The Jago's jam night, shared the stage with some unbelievable musicians - Joined a kickabout group with fellow beginner football players - Started work on a brand new personal project It's been a delight, and I'm excited to stay engaged in all these fun and fulfilling things (even though I will hit the pub every so often). "I'm glad I was 39, tired and grumpy when I started Bluey because I knew what I wanted and I didn't budge." Joe Brumm, on behalf of kids and parents around the world, we are also glad you were tired and grumpy, and in just 6 years, Bluey has become the biggest show, of allllll varieties. In. The. World. 🌍 🤯 This morning at Blackbird's Sunrise we were treated to insights from Joe, the creator of Bluey as he unveiled the success behind the show. TLDR 👉 Joe was rejected as an illustrator so joined the animation course. (yay for us) 👉Joe started his own studio (Studio Joho) where he didn't know if he would have work 2 weeks into the future. He did this for 10 years, with a family to support 👉He worked all day for clients and all night for himself, on Bluey 👉His biggest piece of advice in times when he wanted to throw in the towel? ✨ Finish what you started. ✨

I had a great time talking about intellectual property, start ups, and video games on Monday at the entertainment technology center at Carnegie Mellon University with Oded Green, Kit Needham, and Stephanie Dangel. We had a great timely discussion on fair use in light of the Warhol decision and choreography in video games and what constitutes #copyright infringement with respect to the recent revival of Hanagami V. Epic Games. The main question to consider is how much of a chorographical sequence do you have to copy in order to reach a threshold of infringement? Who wants another freshly made game?! 🎮 Me and my team participated to the 7 days FishFest Jam previous week (another one? YES, we are on FIRE! 🔥😎 ). free fire Choose the right character. There are many different characters to choose from in Free Fire, each with their own unique abilities. You can use the minimap to see where other players are located. Use cover to your advantage. When you're in a fight, it's important to use cover to your advantage.
