#Move away from Plastic Water Bottles 1. The water bottling process releases 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere annually. 2. Around 1.3 billion plastic water bottles used worldwide every day and it uses more than 3800 tons plastic on single day. However, only 12% of these bottles are recycled. 3. Though Water Bottle industry creates jobs and good for economy but it polluts ocean and kills marine life so adversely affecting tourism and fishing communities. 4. As per study, both temperature and amount of time that bottled water is stored increases the breakdown of chemical bonds and harmful chemicals can leach into water. 5. Its less expensive to carry your own water in reusable bottles than to buy it. Its good for your health too.
