Did you know that the European Union's Enterprise Europe Network is issuing grants of up to €10,000 for projects that support energy optimization? This is just another great reason to get started using raslysation! To apply for the grants, the EENergy project only has three criteria: 👥 The company must not have more than 249 employees 🔌 The initiative must reduce the company's overall energy consumption by more than 5% 🔏 The applicant, regardless of whether they receive funding or not, must commit to completing short firm level surveys containing energy efficiency data It could well be grants from the EENergy project that kickstart your journey from #pasteurization or #filtration to #raslysation; a transition that will guarantee energy savings of 60-90%. Great to join the Schneider Electric launch of their “2023 Sustainability Index: transforming intention to outcomes”. This is an insightful survey of more than 500 organisations as part of a longitudinal study investigating corporate Australia’s position on #sustainability and #energyefficiency and presenting a unique perspective on #decarbonisation, with the aim of stimulating discussion about Australia’s move from intention to outcomes on the #netzero. Some key takeaways: ✅ Overall, companies see #ESGs bring competitive benefits ✅ 76% of #corporate leaders believe financial incentives are necessary for the transition to be economically viable ✅ Only 32% have confidence in their ability to manage energy price volatility ✅ 51% have the ambition to be #netzero across scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2035 ✅ 1 in 3 companies have already reduced scope 1 and 2 emissions Thanks Caroline Ottmann for including Coalition for Conservation Inc. in this enlightening event! #scope3emissions #conservation #environment

Six Danish companies are among ‘the world’s most sustainable’ 🌿 The Canadian analysis and research company Corporate Knights has just published its 20th annual ranking of the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world: https://lnkd.in/et4UEZtR After surveying thousands of global companies, they included no less than six ones from Denmark 🇩🇰 Vestas is once again among the top contenders, this time ranked as #3. Ørsted is also ranked highly at #17, the highest placement of any companies in the “Power generation” category. Novo Nordisk, Novozymes, Coloplast and Chr. Hansen are found on the list as well. It is inspiring to see companies like these that have not just made it global, but that have made it global with sustainability in mind. The companies on the list also point toward what we work with in export promotion. Not only the specific companies, but also the sectors they represent - from wind energy to bio solutions. Denmark is a small country, but this tells me that we’re doing something right in creating a business environment where sustainable ideas can thrive and grow well beyond our home market. 🇪🇺 The European Council has approved the Net-Zero industry Act 🇪🇺 On 27 May, the Council has adopted the Net-Zero Industry Act, a major step towards strengthening Europe’s green technology manufacturing. This new regulation is set to boost the deployment of net-zero technologies, which are essential for achieving the climate goals set by the EU, helping the Union become a leader in green industrial tech. 🍃 💡 As Jo Brouns, Minister of Flanders for Economy, Innovation, Work, Social Economy, and Agriculture, said, the Net-Zero Industry Act will help Europe lead in green technologies, reduce dependencies, and create jobs. This act will simplify permits, ease market access, and improve workforce skills through net-zero industry academies and industrial 'valleys'. It's designed to attract investment and foster innovation. 🔋 The act also sets ambitious goals: by 2040, Europe aims to produce 15% of the world’s net-zero technologies. Additionally, it aims to reach a capacity of 50 million tonnes of annual CO2 injection in EU geological storage sites by 2030.
