Eight years ago today, 49 people lost their lives in an attack against the LGBTQ+ community at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. We honor them and their families by standing up - to hate and violence, homophobia and transphobia, ignorance and fear - whenever we can. #PulseNightOfRemembrance #PulseNightclub

2024 marks 55 years since the Stonewall Riots - the protest that we talk about when we say the first Pride was a Protest. Pride is owed to drag queens and kings, cross-dressers, transvestites, transsexuals, and queers. The language may have changed, but the mission hasn't - Queer Liberation in every walk of life.

Happy #Juneteenth! On June 19th, we celebrate the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation that ensured freedom to enslaved Black Americans across the country. Two and a half years after the signing, emancipation was won and the civil war was ended. Now, 155 years later, we can celebrate this victory, but we must also continue the important and necessary work in anti-racism and liberation. You can learn more about Juneteenth and it's history at https://lnkd.in/g4EX_uUD
