Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC)’s Post

Farewell to two of the greats! OSAC Program Manager Douglas Kinney and Special Agent John Parrotte are moving on to their next ventures. SA Parrotte is heading to the Foreign Emergency Support Team (FEST), the U.S. government’s only interagency, on-call, short-notice team that can rapidly respond to critical incidents worldwide. And Douglas is looking ahead to consulting on continuity and resilience in emergency response with BDA Global, and continuing his long-time service with the American Red Cross, FEMA Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), DC Fire & EMS, and Search & Rescue.   John and Douglas, you both truly exemplify the OSAC spirit of partnership and selfless dedication to others. You've made a lasting impact on the legacy of this organization and will be sorely missed! #InsideOSAC

When John Parrotte, CPP showed up on a zoom call to support OSAC Women in Security after another great partner departed, we were.....curious....as to how it would go. I have to say that John went above and beyond every.single.day to support our program. John, you are an amazing person and we wish you the best at the FEST. Come back and break bread with us at the OSAC luncheon. Best wishes.

John Parrotte has been simply fantastic. Working with him on the MENA SC has been an education in dedication, determination and how to work through complex issues. John has always made himself available even while he was on his personal time. The MENA SC is a better team because of his leadership. Best of luck John!
