▪ I am thrilled to share that I've embarked on a new role as a European Climate Pact Ambassador, a significant achievement marking the first #milestone of the year 2024. As part of this vibrant #community, I look forward to connecting with fellow Pact Ambassadors and Country Coordinators across #Europe, creating a collaborative space for knowledge sharing and impactful #initiatives. The European Climate Pact is more than just a movement, it's an insightful effort towards a common cause, building a #sustainable future for #Europe! ▪ Launched by the European Commission as a crucial component of the European Green Deal, the Pact serves as a catalyst for #change. The collaboration doesn't stop there! Together with all Country Coordinators, including those representing #Greece, we 'll work closely with the European Commission's Directorate-General for #Climate Action. Our collective goal is clear: to promote the meaning of #sustainability both at the regional and European levels. COP28 is upon us and the excitement is palpable. The world will be watching as delegates and participants attend negotiation sessions and events that raise awareness and develop practical objectives that move the goalposts forward. It provides a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions to common problems that many islands face. What does the Virtual Island Summit entail?
