OECD data and reports are now open access

This just in: a treasure trove of data, policy analyses and recommendations from the OECD - OCDE, the ITF - International Transport Forum, and many other entities within our organisational family has just gone fully #OpenAccess! Making science and knowledge more accessible is key to empowering evidence-based decision-making, driving new research, and fostering informed discussions on our societies and the future we want for them. A big step in the right direction for the OECD!

The UN library of open sources is impressive. The OECD - OCDE has moved to entirely open access. Jonas Salk, who saved many lives by not wasting time on his vaccine patent, famously said " Could you patent the sun?".🌝 The world is getting more competitive though, where intellectual property is crucially important, vital for individual progress and prosperity. And yet, in the era of social media, where so much unverified information is shared and taken for granted - it is great that many would be able to have access to such sources as the OECD. Sources, accumulating intergovernmental efforts from around the globe 🌎 . Hopefully, such steps of having trusted and thoughtful information openly available will strengthen many socities and economies world-wide, and will help in building meaningful bridges as well.

Detailed guidance/commentary released on GloBE (Pillar 2) by the OECD. - Explain of the intended outcomes - Clarification of the meaning of certain terms - Illustration of the application of the rules to certain fact patterns - Sorted by article/topic in 330+ pages The goal is to have a common and consistent interpretation and application.
