𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭! Dear LinkedIn Community, I'm reaching out to inform you about a recent development that might be impacting many website owners and digital marketers alike. Google Search Console, the invaluable tool for monitoring website performance and indexing status, seems to be experiencing a significant glitch. As of the latest update, Google Search Console has not been functioning for the past 32 hours(as of 9 a.m IST). This means that crucial data regarding website traffic, keyword performance, and indexing status may not be accurately reflecting current metrics. For those who rely on Google Search Console for optimizing their online presence, this outage could pose significant challenges. Without access to up-to-date data and insights, making informed decisions about SEO strategies becomes difficult. I encourage fellow website owners and digital marketers to share their experiences and insights regarding this issue. Together, we can navigate through this temporary setback and continue to drive our online endeavors forward. Stay tuned for updates, and let's keep the conversation going. #gscglitch #gsc #googlesearchconsole #google #technicalglitch #googlesearchconsoleerror #gscerror

HEY Business Owners, DO YOU KNOW THAT? SERP (Search Engine Results Page, search engine results page) is any result in Google's search results but refers to excluding traditional search results. Google will provide more and more SERP features in 2023, including map information, local businesses, focus news, etc. These new SERPs are distracting searchers and distracting clicks from the original rankings, so SERPs are also one of the ways you can get high rankings quickly. With more and more SERP-related functions appearing on the Google search engine in 2023, you can use more ways to attract searchers' attention and clicks. Google just released its latest update for August 2023. The goal is to improve search results and reliability. Google will be transparent about the changes and update its ranking history page once the rollout is complete. The website's performance can be affected in different ways by these updates. If your site's performance drops, it might not be an issue with your site itself. Google recommends these steps to recover: 1. Check underperforming pages. 2. Look at the search terms that lead to those pages. 3. Compare your content with Google's suggested questions to find gaps. 4. Improve your content to match user queries better. Keep in mind that recovery takes time—usually a few months. Also, smaller algorithm tweaks might happen between these updates, which can help adaptable pages. As the impact of this August update unfolds, be patient. For businesses and SEO pros, focus on improving quality and avoid rushing fixes. #GoogleUpdate #SEOStrategy #DigitalMarketing #SearchRankings

Lately, I've noticed a recurring question in the groups we're all part of: how many reviews are enough? What's the ideal Google rating? Reviews are crucial, no doubt. But let's not dwell on their importance. Instead, consider this: it's not about the total count or star rating. What matters to Google is recency and frequency. Imagine magically jumping from one review to a thousand overnight. Impressive, right? Not to Google. They crave consistency. Two reviews today, tomorrow, and every day forward will catch Google's eye more than a sudden influx. For local services, consistent reviews improve rankings and budgeting. Maps ranking? It's about maintaining that steady flow. Don't fret over competitors with fewer reviews but higher rankings. Chances are, they're receiving reviews more regularly. So, set a goal: two reviews per tech per week, indefinitely. It's a sustainable approach that benefits SEO, maps, and Local Services Ads. Remember, no marketing wizardry can compensate for a lack of genuine customer feedback. Google prioritizes companies that consistently earn their customers' praise. So, focus on keeping reviews current and frequent, and watch your online presence thrive.

Can a Google Business Profile (maps) protect informational sites from Google updates? 📍 Many websites aim to appear as "real" businesses by creating Google Business Profiles, hoping to dodge Google updates. According to our analysis of Google results: 📊 Results: Sites with losses were 2x more likely to have a Google Business Profile than winning ones. But, the difference wasn’t statistically significant. 🚫 No advantage found. Evidence shows Google favors "real businesses" in updates. But just having a Google Business Profile doesn’t seem to help at-risk publishers. Repost ♻️ to share with others.
