I recorded a great podcast episode yesterday with product-led growth expert Leah Tharin. Here's a preview of what I learned in the episode and what you can expect when it posts. PLG can work (almost) Anywhere Leah shared how Slack leveraged a PLG approach to sell to the world's largest companies (enterprise). Their example is a great demonstration of how a product-led growth can succeed at hard to reach levels. Personas are not your ICP Generic demographic information about a maybe buyer isn't as helpful as intimately understanding their use case. Knowing your ICP is all about understanding what they need and how your software can provide it. The potential of the 80% You may only be focusing on the 20% of your users that convert to paid, but you may be missing a TON of potential. If you give the other 80% an option (PLG) they may grow with you and INTO your ICP. Consider playing the long game here. Plus tons more.
