𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 The 145 megawatt (MW) plant, which is Masdar’s first floating PV, is built on a 250-hectare plot of the Cirata Reservoir, in the West Java province of Indonesia. --- Here are some benefits of SOLAR systems on lakes: 🌊 ✨️ Increased Efficiency: The cooling effect of water enhances solar panel efficiency, leading to higher energy yields compared to land-based installations, particularly in warmer climates. ✨️ Environmental Impact: By harnessing solar energy over water bodies, we reduce land degradation and preserve natural habitats, contributing positively to biodiversity conservation. ✨️ Water Conservation: Solar panels reduce water evaporation, aiding in water conservation efforts Harnessing solar power on lakes represents a harmonious blend of renewable energy generation and environmental stewardship. Indonesia's Hydro Power Potential The hydropower resources are primarily abundant in Indonesia, Indonesia are blessed by divine nature with numerous rivers. Many of these waterways have potentials to be transformed into powerful sources of clean energy through hydroelectric dams and turbines. Indeed, the journey towards harnessing Indonesia's hydro power potential will not be without challenges. Environmental impact assessments, community consultations, and careful planning are essential to ensure that these projects are sustainable and respectful of our natural heritage, as well as meticulous engineering and commercial design are crucial to make sure that both technical as well as business aspect of the projects are feasible and viable. Nevertheless, with hard work and perseverance accompany with good faith we shall be able to overcome the challenges turn this vision into reality and lead the way towards a greener, more sustainable future for Indonesia. Hey! I have some good news to share! It's coming! Together with Estonian Environment Agency we have created an opportunity to keep a constant eye on all the wind farm developments ongoing in different development stages in Estonia. The results are encouraging - we are on track to have at least 2400 MW (6-7 TWh) of new onshore wind farms up and running by 2030. This is sufficient to meet our 2030 100% renewable electricity target. But surely, being on track and meeting our goals are still two very different things 🙂. Still a lot of efforts are very much needed from all stakeholders. And moreover, we do not intend to stop there. 2030 is only the first checkpoint on a longer journey. Our aim is to be constantly ready to supply whatever amounts of clean electricity our transforming economy needs - obviously - both from on and offshore #renewableenergy #energypolicy

Translated, this snippet says --- Powered by fossil fuels, more cities shines bright at night Oil, coal, and gas were the beacon, the guiding light But in all these advancement it is easy to forget The environment pays the price *** The energy transition is multidimensional, not just the technical, but also a lot of social aspects involved in it. For this reason, it is important for each of us to be involved and contribute to this process so that a just energy transition is achieved. *** PS. The monolog was written in English, but 'slightly coded'. #energytransition #ISEW #transisienergi #energiterbarukan

Lili Kirikal, the CFO of Sunly, who has also been awarded the title of the most influential financial manager of the year, states that there is currently a burning need in the renewable energy sector for the government to make decisions with long-term impact. "Estonia has decided to cover its annual electricity consumption with renewable energy by 2030. Onshore wind and hybrid farms are the cornerstone of achieving this goal. At the same time, there is no clear answer to the question of what happens when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine," Kirikal stated. Lili also talked about Sunly's financial strategy to become an independent renewable energy producer, our construction and development plans for the pipeline this year, and her own journey to the finance world.
