We tackled the in-house DATAton and plunged into the complexities of time series analysis. 📊💡 🌟 DATAton Highlights: - Collaborated with a stellar team of four in a pressure-cooker environment. - Fused apartment trade records with park & daycare data for a holistic dataset. - Despite the crunch, we achieved an impressive R2 score of 0.9785 & RMSE of 2,733.91 (x 10,000 won) for apartment price predictions. - Gained insights into the significance of local amenities like parks, schools, and even Starbucks on property values. ☕️🏡 - A special shout-out to Yeong Woo Lee a compelling presentation that brought our findings to life. Your efforts truly shined! 📈 Time Series Analysis: Post-DATAton, we embarked on a new chapter of time series analysis: - Explored stationarity tests (KPSS/ADF) and autocorrelation functions (ACF/PACF). - Experimented with log transformations, differencing, and ARIMA modeling. - Delved into the nuanced parameters of p, d, and q. As we navigate these new waters, I'm grateful for the camaraderie and support from all the GREWs (our term for trainees) at Aiffel. Today, even picking a yogurt at the store has become a mini-adventure in decision-making, thanks to the overwhelming variety available. This basic example demonstrates how data is linked with our lives. This insight prompted me to take a proactive move in my career development. I enrolled in a course at BrainStation, hoping to learn more about data analytics. I'm not just looking to keep up with the times; I want to understand and harness this incredible resource that's shaping our world. As I learn more about data analytics, I realize how important it is in assisting us in navigating the sea of information we receive on a daily basis.
