I’m honored to announce that Google has placed me in the top 30% today. I really have my friends, family, and of course Google’s proprietary restaurant reviewer’s ranking algorithm to thank for this new accomplishment. As one of the top 30% ranked Steak house reviewers on Google, I am accepting invitations to any Steak house world wide, in return for an honest (I will give you 5 stars for a free French fry) review. Feel free to connect or ask for any tips! #food #foodie #yelp #foodcritic #reviewer #influencer #softwareengineer

Let me tell you about Single Burger. It opened in a fancy street in Milan. Famous chefs were behind it, promising special burgers. But surprise! The burgers were actually from McDonald’s! Yes, the regular ones. They used nice plates to make them look fancier. People happily ate these McDonald’s burgers for two days, thinking they were eating something very special. It shows how something looks can change how we feel about it. The Single Burger Prank underscores a fundamental principle applicable across industries: the product must undoubtedly be of quality, but it’s the amalgamation of the product and its presentation that truly resonates with consumers. It elucidates the imperative nature of crafting an image that aligns with the expectations and desires of your audience. So, whether you're cooking or running a company, remember: HOW THINGS LOOK IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS HOW GOOD THEY ARE. It's what makes people like and remember what you offer.

Totally agree! Starting a beverage company isn’t easy and getting to proof of concept stage isn’t cheap. Then scale up to go nationwide creates a whole other challenge with logistics, warehousing, marketing, new staff, production scheduling, and all the store rebates, distributiors, which doesn’t leave a lot of margin left. Let’s also remember the requirement of more funding through next stage capital raising or trade finance interest etc……so it’s volume game. It’s also becoming a very competitive space with small beer brewing plants allowing more start ups to do small batch can production runs, and your only as good as your sales strategies to stay on shelf every 6 months with range reviews or be deleted. Some things to think about before taking the journey. However, with the right strategy and business model, it can be a very rewarding business. Coach Toddy
Introducing: Taste Radio Insight💡 Our new social media video series answers common questions asked by early-stage beverage founders. Today we have Ken Sadowsky, a 25-year veteran of the beverage industry, breaking down the question ‘how much money does it take to start a beverage company?’
