I spoke with four of them—NBZ Partner's Rachel Segall and Simone Oppenheimer Mandel; Creative Haystack's Pete Carter; and Victoire & Co, LLC's Rachel Huff. They told me about common issues that arise when consultants run pitches the old way—and how their processes are different. It's exhausting to always have to be the one to say it, but does the glaring lack of diversity among these individuals not concern us? I don't understand how that can not be part of a story like this in 2024.

I 🙏🏻 the new generation is abandoning any ways of receiving payment from both sides as that’s been a North Star for so long to knock that process down. Marketers deserve the best possible unbiased option to meet their needs with no front loading mechanisms or those on the back end to edge to a spot in a pitch or win.
