The COVID-19 pandemic undeniably accelerated digital consumption. With limited options for going out during the crisis, individuals increasingly turned to apps for either, entertainment, convenience, or safety, engaging in activities like gaming, viewing video tutorials, online shopping, adopting cashless payment methods, and embracing contactless delivery.
However, as we transition beyond the pandemic, some preferences are reverting to traditional practices, such as dining in restaurants, returning to the use of public transportation, etc. Meanwhile, certain behaviours developed during the pandemic, like cashless payments, online shopping, and watching videos online, appear to be enduring and continue to thrive.
