Low Carbon Mobility | Energy Transition | Conference Speaker | Scaling a renewables business | Building Teams

I am delighted to announce I have started a new role from 1 June at bp as Global Vice President #LowCarbonMobility. This exciting global role covers the new and emerging energy vectors in the truck mobility space from HVO, to (bio)LNG/CNG, EV, and #Hydrogen. I am looking forward very much to working with my colleagues at bp, and of course engaging with our customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Congratulations, it is good to have an income in the short term whilst you look for a long-term career with a company you can trust... bp, here for your everyday journeys… …but only up to... 🔰retirement... 🔰submitting a claim for pension credit... 🔰the food bank... 🔰age concern... 🔰begging for support from the benevolent fund... 🔰the doctor for tranquilisers... 🔰the grave https://bit.ly/CorporateVultures #BPpensions

Hi Oliver Bishop — with great power comes great responsibility. What are you going to do to help resolve the pensions crisis that bp forced upon its UK pensioners? For decades bp promised to take care of their employees in their old age, to protect their pensions against inflation. They, in turn, were willing to accept below-market salaries and even put their own money into the pension fund. Until bp decided to break those commitments, and as a result, the company pension has lost 11% in value over just the last few years. bp ignores and marginalizes the pensioners in a direct violation of the company’s Code of Conduct (which appears to be rather selectively applied to begin with). Employees are censored and silenced when bringing up the pensions issue. Gaslighting and a rather liberal spin of “facts” best describe bp’s behavior when forced to explain their actions. bp has become the focus of parliamentary inquiries. And in April a federal judge convicted the company of significant misrepresentations, if not outright fraud, in a case involving a number of US retirees. Will you speak up against this injustice? Silence is complicity. And if you feel you can’t, why would that be? #BPpensions

Congratulations Oliver Bishop. Could you be the first person in bp to stand up for its 58,000 pensioners and help them turn the corner? UK DB bp pensioners have lost 11% of the value of their pension since 2022 because bp rejected the cost-of-living pension increases they were promised. Good luck with the new role Oliver. I wonder if you are still comfortable working in a morally bankrupt corporate. I would struggle with that. Please have a chat with Murray and ask him to sort out the pensions scandal. Sadly bp bp pulse can no longer be trusted. #BPpensions.
