This includes basic needs such as food, water and shelter, and most importantly SAFETY. We need safety in our environment, our home and most importantly, in our bodies, to gain access to the internal resources we need to heal, achieve and succeed. Often times, the first step towards healing begins with asking for help. Local organizations, such as Resourced Augusta, can help connect you to the assistance you need to begin moving towards safety and stabilization. Tomorrow, I will share more about what it means to be and feel safe, and how important it is as the foundation for healing.
