Dear LinkedIn community, On June 12, we are honoring the World Day against Child Labour by reaffirming our strong dedication to excluding any suspicion of child labour in our supply chain. We recognize the importance of this global challenge and the need for collective action to protect children's rights, child education and ensure a brighter future for them. At Oettinger Davidoff, we have taken concrete steps to ensure ethical practices: 1. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: We collaborate exclusively with suppliers who share our values and uphold the highest ethical standards, guaranteeing that our products are responsibly sourced without any involvement of child labour. 2. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:  We regularly conduct transparent audits of our tobacco farms to identify potential risks and swiftly address any issues that may arise, reinforcing our commitment to eliminate any risk of child labour. 3. 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: In February 2023, we proudly opened the "Centro de Enseñanza Tabadom" in the Dominican Republic. This learning center provides extracurricular English lessons to the children of our employees, offering them valuable educational opportunities complementing their regular schooling. As we commemorate Child Labour Day, let us unite in our commitment to safeguarding children's rights and ending child labour. Together, we can make a difference and inspire others to take action. Join Oettinger Davidoff in our mission to create a brighter future for the next generation. Together, let's build a world where every child can thrive and fulfill their potential. #ChildLabourDay #EthicalPractices #OettingerDavidoff #CreatingChange
