Network Insurance celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration in the United States that honors the diverse and rich contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the nation's culture, history, and society. It is observed from September 15th to October 15th each year, with the starting date coinciding with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. During Hispanic Heritage Month, people celebrate the achievements and contributions of Hispanic and Latino individuals in various fields, such as art, music, literature, politics, science, and sports. Festivities often include cultural events, exhibitions, food festivals, music performances, and educational programs that highlight the cultural diversity and heritage of Hispanic and Latino communities. It's an opportunity to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures and histories that make up the Hispanic and Latino diaspora in the United States. #togetherasone #NetworkInsurance #HispanicHeritageMonth

#HispanicHeritageMonth is a time to honor the rich diversity and contributions of the Hispanic community. Here are five ways to celebrate: 1. Explore Hispanic Culture: Take the time to learn about the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Hispanic communities. Read books, watch documentaries, or attend cultural events to gain a deeper understanding. 2. Support Hispanic-Owned Businesses: Discover and support Hispanic-owned businesses in your area. Dine at Hispanic restaurants, shop at Hispanic-owned stores, or use products and services from Hispanic entrepreneurs. 3. Attend Cultural Events: Attend local Hispanic Heritage Month events, such as music performances, art exhibitions, dance shows, and cultural festivals. These events often showcase the beauty and richness of Hispanic cultures. 4. Learn the Language: Consider learning or improving your Spanish skills. 5. Volunteer and Give Back: Get involved in community initiatives or organizations that support Hispanic communities. Volunteering your time, skills, or resources can make a positive impact and foster a sense of unity. #NationalHispanicHeritage #HispanicHeritage #CelebrateDiversity

Did you know that less than a quarter of national park sites and less than 8% of historical landmarks in the United States are dedicated to Latinos/as/x and other underrepresented groups? Latinos/as/x make up 19% of our nation's population and have left an indelible mark on our culture, society and economy. Our parks and monuments should recognize their achievements, celebrate their role in shaping society and address the ongoing impacts of colonization and displacement on these communities. We explore some parks and historic sites, both new and old, that preserve and share the stories of Latinos/as/x in the U.S.
