Thanks to Brittaney Kiefer at ADWEEK for covering our “So Many Dicks” campaign with E.L.F. BEAUTY for diversity on U.S. corporate boards. We took the message directly to Wall Street today! ✍️ We lit up the Oculus in NYC with unmissable “So Many Dicks” ads with a massive takeover across the Financial District and Fulton Street Station. OBERLAND x e.l.f. Beauty teamed up again for the latest chapter of the “Change The Board Game” initiative to put diversity at the head of the boardroom table. We used data to discover just how much boardroom disparity still exists in 2024 and created the “So Many Dicks” campaign to showcase stats like: “There are twice as many men named ‘Dick’ (men named Richard/Rich/Rick) on publicly-traded boards than all Hispanic women by any name.” To understand  the extent of the issue, we didn’t just run the numbers against all men, we ran it against one. And it turns out the problem is big. Really big. Men named “Dick,” just Dick, outnumber entire groups of underrepresented people on corporate boards. That has to change and we know it can be done! e.l.f  is one of only four U.S. publicly-traded companies, out of 4200, with a board that’s ⅔ women and ⅓ diverse. But they also have a Dick (Richard) on their board. So there really is room at the table for everyone. What the e.l.f.?! 🧐It’s okay to be a Dick – we just need to make more room for everyone else. Plus, having a diverse board is literally more profitable for EVERYONE. 💅 Check it out! https://lnkd.in/ev4jNeNJ
