Thanks to Brittaney Kiefer at ADWEEK for covering our “So Many Dicks” campaign with E.L.F. BEAUTY for diversity on U.S. corporate boards. We took the message directly to Wall Street today! ✍️ We lit up the Oculus in NYC with unmissable “So Many Dicks” ads with a massive takeover across the Financial District and Fulton Street Station. OBERLAND x e.l.f. Beauty teamed up again for the latest chapter of the “Change The Board Game” initiative to put diversity at the head of the boardroom table. We used data to discover just how much boardroom disparity still exists in 2024 and created the “So Many Dicks” campaign to showcase stats like: “There are twice as many men named ‘Dick’ (men named Richard/Rich/Rick) on publicly-traded boards than all Hispanic women by any name.” To understand the extent of the issue, we didn’t just run the numbers against all men, we ran it against one. And it turns out the problem is big. Really big. Men named “Dick,” just Dick, outnumber entire groups of underrepresented people on corporate boards. That has to change and we know it can be done! e.l.f is one of only four U.S. publicly-traded companies, out of 4200, with a board that’s ⅔ women and ⅓ diverse. But they also have a Dick (Richard) on their board. So there really is room at the table for everyone. What the e.l.f.?! 🧐It’s okay to be a Dick – we just need to make more room for everyone else. Plus, having a diverse board is literally more profitable for EVERYONE. 💅 Check it out! https://lnkd.in/ev4jNeNJ

Thanks Marketing Dive for covering our “So Many Dicks” campaign with E.L.F. BEAUTY Managing Partner and ECD, Lisa Topol talks about the crucial timing for the campaign as DE&I efforts are continuing to get drowned out. We’re lucky to work with e.l.f. Beauty, a brand that lives it’s purpose every day and walks the walk with a diverse corporate board. Our campaign is not about excluding anyone, it’s about including everyone in the conversation and bringing more folks and companies into the movement. DEI is good for all, including the bottom line. https://lnkd.in/e43RmpFs

Check out our ✨INKED WITH PRIDE✨ campaign for E.L.F. BEAUTY e.l.f lives queer values all year round! And a huge part of the queer experience is experimenting with appearance as a part of (s)e.l.f.-discovery. Like makeup, tattooing is a method of queer self expression used to shape identity. For Pride Month, we created a campaign to support the beauty of tattooing: INKED WITH PRIDE is a queer tattoo collective in collaboration with It Gets Better - We’re partnering with amazing queer artists to design temporary flash sheets that are symbolic and meaningful to the LGBTQ+ community! We’ll also be dropping facts about these designs, so keep an eye out for some history. 📚 We hope you love these designs! Flash sheets available as gifts with purchase when you shop our Pride picks on elfcosmetics.com - Available starting today, while supplies last. #inkedwithpride #elfcosmetics

More moments from Tribeca Film Festival with E.L.F. BEAUTY 🎬 We’ve been lucky enough to tell the stories of these bold disruptors with a kind heart, but to meet them in person and hear their stories was electrifying.⚡️ You can't watch these films and not be inspired by Anastasia Pagonis, Amanda Nguyen, Viktoria Modesta and Chella Man, dismantling myths, forging their own paths, and living their bold truths. ✨ The screening and panel was a beautiful mix of representation and community. Winners will be revealed tomorrow 🤞 Chella is a deaf, genderqueer, trans, Chinese, and Jewish artist. But they’re also curious, determined, and hopeful. They defy any simple definition – which is how they want it. 💫 Chella is the light that shines in our most recent episode of our inspiring “Show Your(s)e.l.f.” docu-series.
