That is exactly the question we will be answering in this weeks webinar: 4 Keys to Successful Parent Outreach Using Text and Email! In this storytelling video campaign, we used the classic storytelling arch to show how high school teachers worked with struggling students and gave them the skills and support to overcome the obstacles that prevented them for getting what they most desired in life. Through compelling video production, each heartfelt story features a student and their teacher and demonstrates how these amazing teachers helped students transform trauma into strength and success. Storytelling Video Campaign Changes Public Perception Hamilton City Schools hired Barking Squirrel Media to help them change a negative community perception about the school into a positive one through video storytelling. This video production campaign highlights how a mentoring approach to education not only benefits students, but has a positive ripple affect throughout the community. Businesses grow when community members have a positive perception of the school district. More large corporations want to move into and invest in a community that has a strong public school system. We used our discovery process to unearth the most compelling and authentic stories and brought them into public awareness through cinematic storytelling. Transparency is key to building and maintaining trust with internal and external stakeholders. School districts must own and tell their stories. Celebrate the wins, big and small, and acknowledge the contributions of your students and staff. Also, are you reaching all of your families? "Nothing is more important than building genuine connections with the teachers, families and communities we were hired to serve." #edleadership #k12education #superintendents

As a principal for over a decade, Matthew Ebert has transformed the way schools engage with teachers. His TED Talk, originally titled, "Cultivating A Culture Of Care," is not just a presentation—it's a revolution in professional development. He’s pioneered a system where conversations replace presentations, and support supersedes standardization. His approach? It's about listening, really listening, to what educators need and then acting on it. If you're an educator or leader seeking practical strategies for nurturing a thriving school environment, you'll want to watch this talk!
