Yesterday was my first anniversary working at Nuvei. 🤩 As usually happens, it makes you think about results and accomplishments of this year. So I was thinking about it as well and I want to share some of them briefly: 1. I’ve set up new partnerships with 80+ super-talented professionals in Hi-tech. 2. I’ve finally gained confident and feel comfortable working in truly multinational and multicultural environment. 3. I’ve rethought terms leadership and mentorship. 4. I’ve designed solution for “Rules Platform” from the scratch which allows internal users and company customers manage rules for different business issues like fraud rules, 3DS rules, traffic routing rules, fee calculation rules, etc. 5. I’ve designed solution for “Reject Management Platform” from the scratch which allows internal users get sufficient information for cases and automatically implement resolutions upon user decisions. And this is just a beginning of great journey with Nuvei. There are so many bright ideas have to be done. Keep working… 😉

As the year 2023 comes to an end,I thought of penning down some thoughts of the last year... 1)People will always be at the core of any business irrespective of bringing in new tech or new processes. 2) You need to have conviction in your plan and should always work backwards, with end date in mind. No plan can be executed if the team driving it is not aligned, align them first take their suggestions, make the changes based on suggestions and drive all your action plans. 3)Any project will have to be driven by all in team and not alone as an individual. Each person has to take their own responsibility, accountability and drive the projects keeping timeline in mind. 4) Keep your loved ones with you and always be greatful of them to be part of your journey. 5)Never ignore anyone's contribution in your life. There are ones who are silent and patient and give heart & soul to ensure that things go well for you. 6) Do not stop doing what you believe in.Trust the process and results will come. There will be roadblocks and you need to navigate through them but for sure results will come. Always thankful to the team who helped navigate this beautiful year of change.....Wish you all a HAPPY New Year in advance...... Thank you to these team members who always rock and hold the FLAG high... Sonam T. Today marks my 🔟 anniversary at Exadel 🎉 This is a good time to reflect on why I am still here, even though sometimes I feel the urge for change. In these moments, I ask myself the following questions: - Do the company's values still match my own? - Is the company still growing? - Does my contribution still bring significant value to the company? - Does the company appreciate what I do? - Am I surrounded by professionals at a higher level that I can aspire to? - Are there people who benefit from my experience and expertise? - Is there a supportive environment here that believes in me? - Can I continue to gain new experiences here? - By working in this company, do I become stronger and more skilled both as a professional and as a person? And year after year, I get a "YES" to all these most important questions. Of course, like any company, there are challenges here, but they do not overshadow the benefits I see for my professional and personal growth. I am grateful for these 10 years and look forward to the future with optimism, expecting new opportunities and achievements 👐

🎉 Celebrating 2 Years at jemmic! 🎉 On May 2nd, I reached my two-year anniversary with Jemmic, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some key lessons and experiences that have shaped my journey: 1. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥: At jemmic, being open and honest with colleagues and clients isn't just encouraged; it's a way of life. The open-minded culture here allows for genuine conversations where you can speak from the heart and truly be heard. 2. 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬: Mistakes are part of the process. What matters is how we learn from them and turn them into opportunities for growth and improvement. 3. 𝐁𝐞 𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫: Great developers are also great problem solvers. Understanding the business context behind the code is crucial. It adds value to our work and helps us create more effective solutions. 4. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲: If you see room for improvement, think about it and suggest a solution. Spot a potential issue? Raise it early so we can address it head-on and avoid surprises. 5. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡: I've learned so much from my colleagues, both in terms of hard skills and soft skills. Their patience and willingness to share knowledge are inspiring. At the same time, they are open to learning from me, despite my junior status. It's a truly collaborative environment. I see many opportunities for growth here at jemmic, and I'm grateful for the chance to work with such a talented and supportive team. Here's to many more years of learning, growth, and success together! 🍾 Cheers!

Happy to celebrate another work anniversary at Innova! 🎉 To honor my 3 years here, I'm sharing 3 of my learnings: 🏆 Always strive for better The standard can always be raised. When you move out of survival mode into successful handling of the status quo - don't stop growing, but work toward even bigger and better results next! 🎯 Come with a solution We run into challenges all the time (at least most of us do 😁) but it is far more helpful and effective to present a challenge along with a proposed solution - or two. 👩👩👧👦 Relationships matter Whether it concerns colleagues, business partners or suppliers: relationships can (help) make or break your success. Treat others the way you hope to be treated. Picture: the gorgeous tulips in front of Innova's HQ! ❤️

I made a career move! Some of you might have noticed a change in my LinkedIn profile 2 months ago. After 7 years at Taival I made the decision to move on and further strengthen my focus on sustainability and circularity, two topics I am very passionate about. So, on September 1st I stepped into FutureHub in Otaniemi to start my new role as Lead, Sustainable Business at VTT. I’ll spare you a long post, but it goes without saying that this career move was not an easy one but one that felt right and that will allow me to leverage my skills, experience and expertise to help accelerate the transformation towards a sustainably circular world. In my new role, my focus will be on facilitating the seamless transfer of research findings and insights from our diverse research teams into actionable strategies for companies and public organizations. It’s all about breaking down the barriers between the world of research and the practical applications in the business realm. Since I joined VTT, my conviction that I made the right choice has only grown, as I met a wide, very diverse group of people that share my passion for making a positive, sustainable impact. There are so many areas where VTT has been and is developing unique, cutting-edge solutions that can be the foundation for vast positive impact if scaled within the business and societal context. What an amazing time to be alive! #careermove #sustainablebusiness #sustainability #circularity

After 14 years + 2 days of marriage, here's my best advice: Find a partner who makes you a better person. From the beginning of our marriage, Judson's sense of adventure and endless encouragement led me down the most incredible path. Here's a list of things I would have never done without him in my life: 1. Complete 2 sprint triathlons 2. Overcome my fear of open-water swimming (discovered this while training for #1 😂 ) 3. Complete a Century Ride 4. Camp in a tent for more than 1 night 5. Leave my corporate job after 13 years 6. Eat Chick-fil-A more than once a week 7. Jump off a cliff into a waterfall 8. Change thousands of dirty diapers for 3 kids 9. Learn the joy of a good whiteboard session 10. Launch my own business 11. Develop a personal relationship with God Can't wait to see what we accomplish in the next 14! 😁 #advice
I don't typically celebrate the personal aspects of my life publicly but I wanted to say Happy 14th Anniversary to my amazing wife Katie Armentrout (D/E). She is the best partner, adventure buddy, and encourager that I could hope for. Being together on the journey from 2 corporate jobs to being a 2 start-up household has more than its share of ups & downs. Thank you for your love and support each & every day. I'm excited at the possibilities in front of us!
