Our CEO G.R. Schrotenboer and HVAC Division President John MacQuarrie recently visited our Sealed Unit Parts Co., Inc. facility in Allenwood, NJ, and Duro Dyne - NSI Industries Brand operations in Bay Shore, NY. During their time at each location, they engaged with employees, and most importantly, listened. They heard firsthand about the successes and challenges our teams face as they work hard to deliver exceptional results for our customers each day. A huge shoutout to our teams in the Northeast for hosting👏 It was a great opportunity for everyone to work together on ways NSI can be the best company possible for all our stakeholders!

We’re closing out Military Appreciation Month by spotlighting another one of our employee veterans, Louis Scarpa. Louis is a Tech Service Manager for our Duro Dyne brand and oversees the repair and rebuilding of the company’s machinery both in-house and for our customers. Knowing as a teenager he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father, he joined the Navy after graduating from high school. He was an Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd class and gained extensive training in electricity and electronics, which he has used throughout his career here at NSI. He also credits the Navy with teaching him responsibility, resiliency, empathy and the value of working hard. Thank you for your service, Louis. We’re proud of you and are so grateful you’re part of the NSI team!

Meet Jason Dunkle. Jason is a Logistics Supervisor in NSI’s Electrical Division and served eight years in the Marine Corps. He finished his military career as a Logistics Chief, which prepared him for his current role managing transportation requirements. When asked how his experience as a Marine set him up for success in the corporate world, he says he learned to stay organized and calm through most any situation while focusing on the strategic and tactical outcomes of the decisions being made. And his favorite thing about working here? Our continuous growth and working alongside his team to make NSI an even stronger, more efficient company. We appreciate you, Jason!

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, we’re highlighting a few of our people who serve, or have served, in the U.S. Armed Forces. This is Richard Benitez, Sr. Warehouse Operations Manager for Duro Dyne - NSI Industries Brand. He wanted to serve his country like many of his family members did, so he joined the Army as a Specialist 5 converted to a Sergeant. He credits his time in the military with teaching him the importance of team building and working together toward a common goal, which he puts into practice each day as a leader here at NSI. Thank you for your service, Richard!
