What truly ignited my passion was EnerSys' groundbreaking initiative to digitize products, providing seamless solutions that directly address customer pain points. Meet the SoliTek R&D and Product Development team! 🥼🔎 This team is truly made of superheroes! They are creating the next generation solar modules and have developed the smart battery for home. 🔋 Their unity is their strength, valuing teamwork and sharing knowledge as their core principles. Their commitment to innovation goes beyond work - it's their passion. They are also true nature lovers, as they work each day to reduce the environmental footprint of the company's operations. 💚 Their workspace is a lab (though they're often found at their computers!). 🔬 Equipped with simulators, thermal chambers, and more, their lab setting allows them to replicate real-world scenarios of solar power plants and batteries to improve SoliTek products. Moreover, our R&D and Product Development team actively participates in various scientific activities and international R&D projects, pushing the boundaries of new technologies. ☀️ Students in this team have completed research for their bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD theses. Exciting news from my internship journey! Over the past two months at Teliolabs Communications Inc. and TelioEV ,I've gained a comprehensive understanding of the electric vehicle (EV) industry and its profound environmental benefits. A critical insight I've gained is the essential role of lithium-ion batteries in powering this revolution. However, I've also discovered a significant challenge, once these batteries reach the end of their first life cycle, they are often discarded, despite having substantial residual capacity for secondary applications. The core issue lies in accurately predicting the state of health (SoH) and remaining useful life (RUL) of these batteries. This is where TelioEv is leading the charge. We are developing advanced diagnostic software that leverages machine learning algorithms and real-time data analytics to precisely assess battery health and forecast their second-life potential. This innovation aims to extend battery lifespan, optimize resource utilization, and significantly reduce electronic waste.
