Spine surgery is often regarded as complex, difficult, and daunting. The reality, however, is that spine surgery is seeing great progress in the field of minimally invasive surgery. Minimally invasive spine surgery utilises methods involving smaller, more precise incisions, that allow shorter recovery times, more accurate surgeries and overall better outcomes. Ophthopedia Update:Femtosecond laser may help address unmet needs in glaucoma: In refractive and cataract surgery, femtosecond lasers have increased precision and reduced complications. They have also allowed surgeons to differentiate their practices and offer new technology that is inherently appealing to patients. In the years to come, femtosecond lasers could play a significant role in meeting some of the unmet needs in glaucoma care, as well. Femtosecond laser image-guided high-precision trabeculotomy (FLigHT) is a new noninvasive procedure undergoing clinical investigation for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma. In a FLigHT treatment, the femtosecond laser (ViaLuxe #ophthalmology #eye #eyenews

Great new publication illustrating how we are moving the needle of various indications and uses of Matriderm outside of standard soft tissue reconstruction 🙏Dr. Ali Shahmoradi, MBA for sharing this great publication
🌟 Excited to share a highlight in peripheral nerve regeneration with the use of MatriDerm: Key findings include: 🔹 Reduced scar tissue formation. 🔹 Enhanced nerve regeneration. 🔹 Quicker functional recovery. 💡 This approach has the potential to significantly improve peripheral nerve surgery practices. Retina Surgery Retina surgery, also known as vitreoretinal surgery, involves surgical procedures that target the retina and the vitreous humor (gel-like substance inside the eye). These surgeries are typically performed by ophthalmic surgeons who specialize in diseases and conditions affecting the retina. Here are some common types of retina surgery: https://lnkd.in/gERCiZSa
