We want to help our donors have the greatest impact with their giving. In our latest blog post, NGHS Foundation discusses three key questions we should ask ourselves: whether to increase our giving, when to give, and what type of assets to donate. These simple choices can have a big impact on how much our gifts help. To read more and learn how we can make our donations go further, click here: https://bit.ly/3xFXclu

"I am honored to nominate Chaplain Frank Brown for Employee of the Month. Working in the Medical ICU we see Frank often, as patients unfortunately end up here abruptly and unexpectedly. Frank shows up for both patients, their families, and our staff in our greatest times of need, as a light that shines with hope, faith and emotional support. I have witnessed first-hand the profound impact he has made on our team and more importantly on the lives of our patients and their families. Chaplain Frank embodies the essence of deep interdependence with each comforting prayer, with his words of support, and his uplifting energy. Whether it’s holding a hand while praying for a passing patient or offering a listening ear to a grieving family member, he demonstrates an unwavering commitment to serving others with integrity and compassion. In every interaction, Frank exemplifies respectful compassion. He approaches each person with empathy, kindness and understanding, creating a safe space for them to express their thoughts and emotions openly. His ability to connect with others on a deeply personal level fosters a sense of trust and comfort that is truly remarkable. Finally, Frank embodies responsible stewardship in all he does. Frank recognizes the importance of honoring the dignity and autonomy of each individual, ensuring their wishes and preferences are respected at every stage of their journey. Chaplain Frank is more than deserving of the employee of the month award. His outstanding work and support set him apart as an exemplary member of our team and I hope the profound difference he makes every day can be recognized.” Thank you Frank for all you do!
