Bois d'Arc Lake provides a vital new water source for our region, but its benefits extend beyond that. North Texas Municipal Water District partnered with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to make Bois d'Arc Lake a destination for anglers, and we're excited to see people enjoying fishing the lake after last week's recreational opening.

I worked at the water district in 2019 (Environmental Quality) and got to collect water samples in the creeks that feed the now impounded lake. It's a beautiful area up there!

Beyond the obvious benefit of a new water resource, what a great addition to quality of life in Bonham and Fannin County!
