Executive Interim Management in Finland Ten years ago, Executive Interim Management was largely an unknown concept in Finland, but since a couple of years ago, the industry is on the rise. Our colleague Niklas Björkman, Managing Partner at Nordic Interim Finland Oy, tells us his background, his view of Interim Management, and what the Finnish interim market looks like today. Niklas has a broad background in B2B and B2C in industry, management consulting, telecom and FMCG. He has himself has worked as an Interim Manager within business development, which is always about understanding how to be relevant to the customer and how to continue to be it. What does the interim market look like in Finland? “The Finnish market is a little behind Sweden. We need to keep working on educating the market about Interim Management and about how it differs from management consulting. Historically, you chose either recruitment or consulting, and an interim was hired for vacancies. Now the demand for Interim Management is starting to take off, and the companies we talk to are very positive about this solution. This also entails greater competition, but most players are locally based around Finland. The fact that we are Nordic is a big advantage and we see an increasing need from our customers for support throughout Scandinavia. Together with our owners Valtus, we collaborate cross-border all around the world, and at the moment we have several assignments in Central Europe and the USA. We also see a great demand within new technologies and in digitalization.” Read the interview here: https://lnkd.in/d2aEAEzs #interimmanagement #finland #changeleadership

How has the Czech and Slovakian Interim Management market developed in the last couple of years? “Interim Management is not very mature here, and we still need to educate some of our clients. Sometimes Interim Management is understood as a synonym for Crisis Management, so the other aspects of Interim Management need to be emphasized. Companies are mostly not looking actively for Interim Managers, full-time employment is still preferred. It is not common for Managers to work as freelancers and people are generally not open to becoming Interim Managers, mainly due to the uncertainty. But the business is growing, as is the competition, also from our neighbouring countries, like for example Germany. Currently, there are a number of professional Interim Managers actively working in various industries and with a successful track record. Most of our Interim Managers are active in finance, HR, plant management and production, and crisis management which is a “hot topic” these days. Do you want to leran more ? This is how an Executive Interim Manager can solve your headache! We have asked some of our Executive Interim Managers how they help organizations solve business-critical challenges. Marie Landfors: “As an Executive Interim Manager, you start processes and deal with problems very quickly, it goes at 180 km/h! It is a lot about being transparent and quickly gaining trust from the organization.” Björn Ekstedt: When you come in from the outside, you see the business with new eyes and can question things. With a long experience, you can therefore quickly achieve results, even if the context is new. You do not have to think so much about internal politics and how to position yourself – you can focus on the assignment and simply work.” Åsa Svedenheim: “To hire an experienced person to solve the problem is a much faster solution than to use an internal resource or to wait for a permanent recruitment. As an Executive Interim Line Manager, I am part of the team, have the mandate to push through the changes and I feel a great commitment.” Owe Wedebrand: As an Executive Interim Manager you can make tough decisions and replace staff when needed. You have to listen the organization, often they have not understood the whole picture and you must explain why the change must be done and how their individual contributions support this. When the permanent manager is recruited, the interim has paved the way so that the new role holder comes to a well-functioning business.” Read more about Interim Management here: https://lnkd.in/dKjAs73z.. #interimmanagement #bestadvice #changemanagment

B2B Marketing X.0 - Generate Targeted Leads - Find Interim Managers or C-levels in D or MEX - Located in Mexico I Aerialist
The advantages for companies that utilize interim managers are wide-ranging. Firstly, these managers bring a wealth of expertise and experience to their role, often specializing in a particular area where the company may lack the necessary skills. This ensures that the company has access to the knowledge and capabilities it needs to thrive. Additionally, the flexibility that comes with hiring an interim manager allows companies to tailor their workforce according to their specific needs, without the long-term commitments associated with permanent positions. This can be particularly advantageous when dealing with sudden vacancies or crisis situations, as interim managers are often available at short notice. Furthermore, the objective viewpoint that interim managers offer is invaluable. Being external to the company, they are able to make unbiased decisions that are not influenced by internal dynamics. This can lead to more effective problem-solving and decision-making. Another significant advantage is the cost savings that come with hiring interim managers. Unlike permanent employees, interim managers are only paid for the duration of their assignment, without the additional long-term costs such as social benefits. This can make them a more cost-efficient option in the long run. In Mexico, as well as in other countries, interim management is becoming increasingly popular due to its ability to enable companies to respond swiftly and flexibly to changes and challenges. #interimmanagement #flexibility #mexico #germany #advantages

Do you want to know how to get a job in different companies and gain interesting experience? Then you need to know about interim management🤩. In a world where companies must pivot quickly to respond to everything from global pandemics to economic upheaval, interim management has emerged as a go-to solution for addressing these critical moments. Interim managers🧑💼 are highly skilled professionals with expertise in areas such as general management, sales, operations, IT, HR, and finance. According to the INIMA European Survey🔬 2024, Interim Management is experiencing strong growth in these and other areas across Europe. One of the benefits👍🏻 of interim management is quick response times⚡️. Interim managers can be appointed and begin work within days, making them an ideal option for time-sensitive and unexpected projects🤯 and situations. They are also highly flexible in their availability and scope of work, which can make them cost-effective💰, because they don't expect to be "overpaid" as in the usual form of recruiting. The use of interim management has potential drawbacks🧐, for example, in the lack of cultural fit👥, in weaker development of professional knowledge of regular employees, or in the over-reliance on external staff resources. Interesting findings from the INIMA survey👩🏫 include that the top sectors for Interim Management in Europe are mechanical manufacturing, industry, automotive, IT, and healthcare. Change management, business development, project management, and process optimization are among the most common tasks for interim managers. Another interesting finding💡 is that while the majority of interim managers in Europe are male, there is a growing number of female interim managers👩💻 across the continent. However, the overall percentage of female interim managers remaining low at around 14%. Companies of all sizes📊 use interim management, with businesses between 100-1000 employees being the most common. If you would like to be part of the Interim Managers portfolio, or to find out more about the opportunity, please contact us📞. #interimmanagement #opportunity #solution

Executive Interim Management in Benelux countries “The Netherlands is the birthplace of Interim Management – a proven solution for companies with challenges in the whole Benelux area.” We have talked to Wim De Mulder, Partner of Accord Group Belgium about the interim market in the Benelux countries. “As we are in the middle of a great paradigm where digitalization and technical development force almost all organizations to adjust, the demand for temporary experts is growing. There is a big trend towards working more independently and flexible, meaning that more and more people turn to a career as Interim Managers, so both the demand and supply of Interim Managers are increasing.” Wim explains that the most demanded roles are within finance, HR, marketing, change management, and technical expertise. The interest of working as an Interim Manager is also growing. During Covid-19 people stayed in their permanent roles, but now they want to have a more flexible way of working. This has led to an increased number of assignments as these, now vacant roles, have to be filled.
