Wow! Knowledge bomb.

Even though I am elbow deep in AI for a way, way before #genai hype, I will say it is boring as hell. I want to hear about #rust #lambda and SIMPLE S**T THAT JUST WORKS. If you copy what #openai is saying it is BORING.

Imagine how many failed #ycombinator companies have computers, domain names, logos, etc. Since 99/100 are not even profitable it seems like you could create an entire vulture ecosystem to clean up and sell the broken dreams of startup founder suckers slaving away to make the VC they work for rich for pennies on the dollar. Like a “dollar store”, but for tech stuff. https://lnkd.in/e_dvA-H4

I consulted briefly for a startup in #oakland and we had to shelter in place due to automatic weapons fired in the middle of the main drag. The big takeaway for me is use #datascience to make decisions. I compared #costofliving and found many safe and pleasant places in the #usa that had a great combination of #qualityoflife, #walkability and #moderate #housingprices. This is what failure looks like, and you can use data science to remove yourself from it.
