It seems like energy prices are completely unrestrained and as inflation rises, there could be unbounded costs. True story in 2017 (last year in Bay Area), I got some surprise 1K electric bills as PG&E played around with rates after the fires. https://lnkd.in/edrmhfJG

Amazing book! First, it has a lot to say about the world we live in. Second, #bradbury wrote it in 9 days on a library typewriter he rented by the half-hour. You can build incredible things with little technology and a tight deadline.

Wow! Knowledge bomb.

Even though I am elbow deep in AI for a way, way before #genai hype, I will say it is boring as hell. I want to hear about #rust #lambda and SIMPLE S**T THAT JUST WORKS. If you copy what #openai is saying it is BORING.

Imagine how many failed #ycombinator companies have computers, domain names, logos, etc. Since 99/100 are not even profitable it seems like you could create an entire vulture ecosystem to clean up and sell the broken dreams of startup founder suckers slaving away to make the VC they work for rich for pennies on the dollar. Like a “dollar store”, but for tech stuff. https://lnkd.in/e_dvA-H4
