I often hear, “isnt that your job?”
Me: “No, it’s our job to partner together. I can’t read your mind.”
But agree with this post…AI is a game changer, but you’ll still need humans to direct, guide, prompt, edit, redirect…oh, and train your team on how to use AI effectively while building a toolbox that blends traditional and digital approaches.

Attention is priceless. We’re all distracted by multiple screens, responsibilities and deadlines. Generative AI is flooding us with mediocre content, further fragmenting our attention. How are sellers supposed to build credibility and trust that allow us to actually connect with buyers? I see one clear path to connection that strays from the instant-gratification habits we’re learning from AI. Community.
There is already a lot of noise around launching your own media brand to showcase your content marketing and host some meetups, but a healthy long-term community strategy requires more than just going through the motions. To start, answer these questions:
1. How big are my total addressable and serviceable markets?
2. Who are my buyers and users?
3. What would my buyers and users like to learn from each other?
4. What challenges do they really face and are those challenges big enough and persistent enough to merit bootstrapping our own community around them?
The good news is that you can start small and see impacts very quickly. Building audiences of buyers who trust and engage with you can start with 10 prospects at your next roundtable dinner and grow from there.
