According to Reputation's 2024 Healthcare Report (US market), "five years ago, the healthcare industry received 643,000 reviews annually. By the end of 2023, that number soared to 1.61 million reviews annually, representing a striking 150% surge in the ­five year period.” This is interesting from my perspective, as we've seen a massive increase in the volume of reviews received for Circle Health Group as we’ve embraced digitalisation and transformed our communication channels across all hospitals, with the volume of reviews pouring in nothing short of remarkable. In 2023, we received 14.8k reviews total across all of our hospitals with 12.1k of those coming from Google Reviews. That's an incredible growth of 710% vs. 2019 as a result of a multi-year project to increase patient feedback. And even better? Our local marketing teams are actively responding with an average 98% response rate for Google Reviews. I wonder if there's scope for Reputation to produce a similar report for the UK healthcare market? CC: Grant Driver

So proud of this partnership and honored to serve these communities across the country! How do hospitals go about implementing a hospital-athome program? JK: A hospital can’t just decide to start a hospital-athome program. There’s a process to it. CMS systematically determines whether the hospital has the infrastructure and personnel in place to properly provide acute care in patients’ homes. Because the process is complex and potentially rewarding, CHC recently announced that we’re offering hospital-at-home services, in partnership with Resilient Healthcare Corporation, to help hospitals with Hospital-at-Home approvals, implementation and operations. What infrastructure must a hospital have in place to qualify for a CMS waiver and run a successful program? JK: A big component of it is IT infrastructure. Requirements include cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity and technology that integrates with the hospital’s EHR platform; network-connected devices that monitor and report patients’ vital signs and health status in real-time; and telehealth technology to connect patients and physicians. Technology and people are integral to monitor and manage the care team. CHC partnered with Resilient because the company provides all the technology-related pieces of the puzzle.

CMS top rated hospitals and news About 10% of Americas' hospitals got a 5 Star rating yesterday from CMS. Listed state by state I'm sure you'll see some surprises about those not making this list. In yesterday's Keckley Report the challenges faced by hospitals was highlighted to some degree, like consolidation, private equity, the distain for the performance of not-for-profit hospitals and the 2024 election posturing by the political parties. Lots of potential turmoil ahead for this sector. "The economics of healthcare will force uncomfortable discussions about its value and performance." A welcome change to the healthcare landscape. MemorialCare and Pacific Dental opening their first location. This unique partnership between a regional health system and a national dental support organization, powered by a shared electronic health record system, set a new precedent in collaborative healthcare. The signing of the partnership's first lease marked the beginning of bringing it to life.
