Huge thanks to Bianca Errigo for her insightful and fun mindfulness workshop yesterday! It was so valuable to have the opportunity as a team to take a step back and evaluate how we can channel our energy effectively and with positivity. Not everyone will ask how quickly you have done a job, but they will always ask how well you’ve done it.

Concluding Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 with OpenWeb ADYOULIKE, an OpenWeb Company was an absolute delight. The remarkable individuals in this group shared valuable insights and engaged in some really exciting conversations. Subsequent to the event, I received an email telling me they were so inspired by the workshop they have planned daily morning team meditations for those present in the office. I can honestly say being a small catalyst for positive transformation at both the individual and organisational levels is an unparalleled sensation as a coach. Amongst the workshops delivered this week, the most requested were "Recognising and Avoiding Burnout" and "Mindfulness in the Modern World.” The former, a straightforward session, delving into the five stages of burnout, providing insights on how to promptly identify each stage and offering guidance on mitigating its impact or evading it altogether. The latter, on the other hand, encompasses a more complex formation. I developed this workshop following my qualification as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness practitioner. I had two main drives when creating the content: Primarily, in today's modern world, mindfulness suffers many misconceptions. The workshop is my attempt at illuminating the true essence of mindfulness, revealing that it extends beyond mere seclusion in a dimly lit room or constant composure. In truth, mindfulness is a powerful tool applicable to every facet of our lives, capable of alleviating the burdens imposed by the daily stressors of modern life. Many individuals (myself being one for many years) don't have the knowledge around its genuine advantages, underestimating its potential to assist us profoundly. Secondarily, as someone who finds it a challenge to slow down, often if not careful on a relentless pursuit of completing tasks and burdened by persistently heightened anxiety levels— something increasingly experienced amidst record-high levels of anxiety and other mental health issues—I realised the pressing relevance of this workshop. Reflecting upon my own experiences, whether it was when I was navigating an intense city job in my early twenties or the recent years after my father's passing, even more recently throughout the establishment of my wellness company, I wished I had received such guidance and for these reasons I created this workshop. It has been a pleasure delivering all my workshops this week and connecting with old and new faces, both online and in person. A huge thanks to everyone who joined me and I hope you all enjoyed the sessions as much as I did. For now a big weekend of rest and recharging pending. I hope everyone has had good weeks and you all get some rest this weekend! Bianca #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthawarenessweek2023 #corporatewellness #mindfulness #burnout
