Today, we released our fourth annual Microsoft Work Trend Index and the key takeaway: AI at work is here. Here are some interesting insights: ⭐ 75% of global knowledge workers are using #genAI at work -- nearly double vs. six months ago! ⭐ 78% of AI users are bringing their own AI tools to work (BYOAI). ⭐ 79% of leaders agree their company needs to adopt AI to stay competitive, but 59% worry about quantifying the productivity gains of AI. ⭐ 66% of leaders say they wouldn’t hire someone without AI skills and 71% say they’d rather hire a less experienced candidate with AI skills than a more experienced candidate without them. I just had a discussion about the 4th star yesterday. An intelligent worker (KW+AI) will have a greater productivity impact in an organization, IMHO.

Product Marketing Manager at Artificial Intelligence (AI) -Implementation

AI skills would be more than just prompting models to produce text or images. A good understanding of algorithms/statistics would be key. Also the ability to create models yourself to implement in work streams-super important
