To coincide with #RareDiseaseDay we are delighted to release the findings of a year-long research project into the mental health impact of a rare disease diagnosis.    As part of our ongoing commitment to support patient-focused initiatives, in 2021 we fully funded the project led by Rare Disease Research Partners, an organisation focused specifically on supporting research and access to treatment for people living with rare conditions.    Following an extensive literature review, a panel of experts developed a statement of good practice, designed to raise awareness of the core issues and importantly, provide guidance and support for healthcare professionals and organisations working in this area. Both of these are now available to view on our website:   https://lnkd.in/dbTsz-by   The resources are being actively disseminated within the rare disease community and we hope they will be used to support the future development of services, initiatives, and programmes delivered by the wide range of organisations involved - providing both a strong evidence base and practical advice too.   If you have any feedback on the project or would like to discuss the research with us or any of our partners, we warmly invite you to get in touch.  Below are some of the thoughts we have received on the project so far 👇 #RareDiseaseDay2022 #NewResearch #MentalHealth

We are delighted to announce that RBW Consulting and Thorp Associates UK are merging.
