If you are a sales rep, I am sure you have encountered these. The sales reps are often given a list of people and are asked to convert without knowing anything about the ideal customers. Most people stop answering calls after the 5th follow-up. The customer’s journey becomes easier if the sales rep is fully equipped with the 4W’s & 1H about the problems the product is solving. #sales #memes #salestargets

The secret to being a successful sales rep? Self-discipline. It's not all about having an outgoing personality or knowing your product inside and out. Self-discipline plays a massive role in how successful you can be as a sales rep. Sticking with it, adhering to your schedule, and consistently following up is critical to achieving your goals. You can’t control the market, and sometimes you can’t control the product. But you can control your discipline. Stick to that, and you’ll see results. #sales #success #salestransformation

Most sales reps who are spending any time at all in the field get the not-so-flattering title of being a "star sales rep" 🤩 Why do I say not-so-flattering? Well, the star is referring to their planning approach - that is, how they're often times tracing out a star with their approach to how they're driving between accounts. More often than not - they're doing this while trying to prospect for new accounts. 💡A better approach exists! 👉 Instead, try the approach of mapping out your weekly route, and then find new prospects that already exist along or nearby that path. You'll be shocked at what you find -- to throw another cliche out there, these accounts were hidden in plain sight! 👀

How can you get one of your customers to be a professional reference for your next sales position? Typically we have references that are previous peers or previous managers that we had that can speak to our direct day-to-day habits and skill level as a sales professional but a very interesting reference that you can have on your résumé is a customer that you sold. If that customer can speak to you how well it was that you took them through the process and how you really helped them in selecting your product that will go along way in helping you get a key sales role that you’re trying to get. #sales

Your job as a sales rep is NOT to close as many leads as possible... your job is to close as many QUALIFIED leads as fast as possible, and you can not fully qualify a lead until you have a conversation with the prospect.

Why does nobody call the position a “Sales Rep” anymore? Why do we have titles that say “you’re in sales” but never have the word sales in them? How terrible is the stigma we put on the word “sales” that we can’t allow our team members to be proud that their job is in selling the products and services that our company creates? Sales is only a dirty word if you’re doing it wrong…. Business development is sales…. Account management has become inside sales… These are just words… if you’re in sales, be proud that you are letting the world know about your awesome company. #salesmatters
