It was an incredible year at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for Nexus Studios! Winning a Grand Prix for Adoptable, our collaboration with #Pedigree and Colenso BBDO, was an incredible moment, with the AI supercharged project also picking up a Gold, Silver, Bronze Lion as well as a shortlist for good measure. What’s more, our craftsmanship was recognised in the Film Craft Lions for our animated productions with Meta on It’s Coi Leray’s World and with Postmates by Uber and Mother for This is Your Brain on Food. Thank you to everyone who worked on these incredible projects and helped make the 2024 awards such a memorable one.

*CANNES GRAND PRIX WINNER* Thrilled to share that our AI-powered project “Adoptable”, created in collaboration with Pedigree and ColensoBBDO, won the top prize for Outdoor Lions! 🏆 This innovative AI pipeline turns every Pedigree ad into a hyperlocal poster for shelter dogs, using machine learning to transform amateur shelter photos into professional-grade images. These are then placed in Pedigree digital posters near the dog’s shelter where they are waiting to be adopted. Our panel at Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy was fully booked in minutes! Diving into She Creates Change, our inspiring series directed by Martha Adams for Room to Read, the panel will consider representation in animation from both creative and production perspectives.
