As we step into the colorful embrace of fall, I wanted to share a practice that has been a source of strength and inspiration in my journey: the power of affirmations. Affirmations are like little seeds of positivity that we plant in the garden of our minds. They help nurture our self-belief, boost our confidence, and pave the way for a mindset that can conquer challenges and seize opportunities. In our ever-evolving world, where both personal and professional growth are essential, affirmations act as our steadfast companions. They remind us of our capabilities, our resilience, and our unique path in the world of medical coding and beyond. This fall, I invite you to explore the incredible potential of affirmations. They're not just words; they're your inner cheerleaders, motivating you to reach for the stars. 🍁 **Check out the graphic** I've prepared for you with some empowering affirmations that align with the spirit of the season. Feel free to use these or create your own—words that resonate with your journey and aspirations. Remember, affirmations are most potent when they come from your heart. I believe that the Chronicles of Coding community is not just a place to advance your career; it's a place to nurture your personal growth, too. It's Genieve here, and today I want to talk about something that's close to my heart – living for today while planning for a future you'll love. You see, life is a beautiful dance of moments, and every day brings new opportunities and challenges. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the busyness of life that we forget to pause and ask ourselves, 'Am I truly living the life I want?' Here are three tips to help you navigate this delicate balance: 1. Embrace the Present: The present moment is a gift, and it's where life happens. Embrace it fully. Take time to appreciate the small things, like a warm cup of coffee in the morning or a beautiful sunset. These moments may seem insignificant, but they add up to a life well-lived. 2. Dream with Purpose: While living in the moment is essential, it's equally important to dream with purpose. Set goals, both big and small, that align with your passions and values. Whether it's advancing in your medical coding career, traveling to new places, or learning a new skill, having a clear vision for your future keeps you motivated and excited about what lies ahead. 3. Plan Thoughtfully: Planning for your future doesn't mean rigidly scheduling every moment. It means creating a roadmap that guides you towards your dreams. Break down your goals into actionable steps, prioritize them, and give yourself the flexibility to adjust as needed. Planning gives you a sense of direction and control over your destiny. Remember, it's not about chasing perfection but about dancing with the rhythm of your unique journey. Cherish the connections you make along the way, and trust that you're on the path that harmonizes with your soul's melody. Your journey is your own, and the power to create a life you love is in your hands. Helping Leaders Build Confidence, Drive Results and Get the Most Out of Their Career | Leadership Coach | Executive Coach | Team Coaching | Accredited Workplace Mediator | MCIPD HR Consultancy
I bet I'm not the only one guilty of the point, Vinh, makes in this clip. It's not arrogant or big-headed to accept a compliment. It's hard for a lot of people to give feedback, so when they take the time and thought to share it, respect it and hear it. And, let's face it, you spend so much time inside your head beating yourself up about so many things, it's about time you listened to a different perspective. We are all good at some things and not others. Celebrate the stuff you're good, it's what makes you you. Just say "thank you". #Coaching #LeadershipCoach #CareerCoach – – – – – – – – – -- Hi, I’m Claire. 🔹Coaching leaders to get the best out of themselves and their teams at work. 🔹A passionate believer that with the right support, fulfilled employees and a profitable bottom line do not have to be mutually exclusive. Aside from a systemic issue of recent immigrants trying to find Canadian employment well-matched with their education/experience level, established immigrants also continue to struggle when "white-centric ideas of professionalism, such as dress, hairstyle, speech accent, communication patterns, attitude toward timeliness and work, and work style, potentially discriminate against BIPOC and immigrant talent", hindering their professional development. This issue is a significant barrier to the hiring and retention of immigrant talent, impacting their ability to contribute fully to the Canadian workforce. For a deeper understanding of these challenges and to explore relevant statistics, refer to this guide created by Coalition of Innovation Leaders Against Racism (CILAR):
