💡🍺 Solution to Brewery Hose Challenge ERIKS recently addressed a critical challenge in the brewing industry related to hose functionality. Our customer faced issues with hoses kinking at sharp 90° angles after the coupling, which increased the risk of damage and contamination. Additionally, the use of clamp shells was raising concerns about potential bacterial growth. To tackle this, we recommended beer hoses equipped with pressed couplings, specifically designed to eliminate kinking and improve hygiene at connection points. An added feature was the anti-kink spiral, which also significantly extended the lifespan of the hoses, particularly at vertical connection points. Outcomes: 🔷 The implementation of our recommended hoses led to an improvement in production uptime. 🔷 There was a noticeable reduction in the need for maintenance and hose replacements. 🔷 The durability of the new hose design contributed to lower total costs over time. 🔷 The high-quality hose assembly diminished the risk of contamination.
