For over 65 years, Vermont has been a leader in #semiconductor chip innovation and manufacturing. The arrival of IBM and the transition to GlobalFoundries created thousands of jobs and technology that changed the world we live in. Now, the next wave of semiconductor innovation is here. Vermont is on the verge of becoming the first state to manufacture gallium nitride (#GaN) devices at high volumes. That means faster-charging EVs, higher resolution ultrasounds and sonograms, less plastic in electronic device manufacturing, and so much more. It's why we've been designated a U.S. Economic Development Administration #TechHub (led by GlobalFoundries, the State of Vermont, and the University of Vermont). Have you been involved in the semiconductor industry in Vermont? Comment and let us know how you've seen it change over the years. Learn more and become a member at https://vgan.tech/
